My brain goes to Keats rather than original sources when I think Lamia; I want to see someone charioting foremost in the envious race like a young Jove, with calm uneager face. Or, you know, driving the Impala.

I don't read a lot of spoilers, so maybe this has already been stated as a certainty. Is Dean really infected by a vampire, or could it be something similar? Because yeah, I thought there was no cure, and it kind of annoys me that they might have saved some people that they allowed to die.

Honestly, and i know no spoilers so this is just my guess: since we saw the Alpha shapeshifter, and this year it's pretty clear monsters are acting out of the norm, I'm thinking they might find the alpha vampire and killing it might cure Dean... just my guess.
