Shawn was right about how to pronounce the guy's name! For the first time ever! And Lassiter used his catch phrase! I think this is what the writers meant by them getting married in this episode. I was very happy.
Really though, the entire episode was car porn to me. Mostly, what I'm almost sure, yes, was a two-door Impala. I was drooling, I won't pretend.
Someone made me some icons (!!!) and that was one of the scans they used. Look at them! ♥ I am not quite sure how I ended up shipping this, but by god, I apparently ship it hard. *facepalm*
Like, Batman curing Joker's brain tumor and getting him off death row ridiculous. At one point, Dick beats him to death, then gives him CPR.
WTF? though in Under the Hood, Jason beats the Joker and then has him tended to so he can have Batman kill him. Which I must say was a bit of a WTF? for me, as well. I mean, I get it, metatextually? But yeah, I can see how it's problematic in-text.
Lassiter saying, "I've heard it both ways." That was awesome. Also, Shawn doing Lassie's danger music. In time with the actual danger music score. So hilarious. Oh, show.
By the way, I came up with a Psych episode title: "Hook, Line, and...Murder." Why haven't they used this one yet? Surely it is in the works.
I referred to Black Mask's assistant as the Evil Pepper Potts. My comic book geek friend approved. Yeah he told me all about Superboy punch and all the other idiocies involved in the background of Jason Todd. Kind of makes me like the character more actually. I loved the movie but I heard pretty much a blow by blow of the comic so no desire to read it myself. I think the movie fixed it issues in a great way, a much much more interesting way.
Sometimes when my friend is explaining comic back story to us (this could be on any hero from DC or Marvel you wanna name) my eyes must look like they'll be rolled back permanently in the back of my head from the eye rolling. Comic writers do some crazy stuff. I love super heros and hero journeys and I do think that a lot of great stuff is in graphic novels but a lot of it is also just a bit wacky.
They really do. It's hilarious. I remember getting the background for some X-Men stuff when I was writing XMM, and it was full of crazy things like 'And his father went off to be a space pirate in a rock band. No, seriously.'

Also, also, the nick names for Gus. ♥

-I know comics are not necessarily your thing, but you might like Winick's current Jason mini.
Maybe once it's done and collected in a trade.
-Ahaha, the hyena assassin. I forgot all about her.
Seriously! And they're checking her out from behind! WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN!
but that panel of Jason crying and pounding on the inside of his coffin just kills me.
*nod nod*
And he's calling for Bruce. Jesus, that's heartbreaking.

Maybe you should write a spec script for them!

Yeah, the movie certainly makes more sense, especially if you're not a comics-reader.
