I'm so ambivalent on that show, but then I hear a favorite song and I'm hooked again

Yeah, I think I'd drop it if it conflicted with something I really love, but I'd have to seek out the musical numbers (and Sue Sylvester clips) regardless.

I've had enough problems with bars that I don't bother making them without lining the pan with tinfoil. It also helps with cleanup because then you don't have to scrub at the sides from where top layer cooks on. I think making it in a 9x13 pan might help with the setting, if not, then maybe add another teaspoon of flour. You might have to use more zest because any kind of thickener tends to absorb flavours and orange is a bit weaker than lemon. Also since orange isn't as tart as lemon, you don't need all of that sugar, cuz holy moly, that's a lot.

Oh, The Good Wife. *flails a little bit* Yeah, Peter still has some apologizing to do and more so now. I really didn't think he was going to do it, but you're right, it was this man that got to where he was and he hasn't changed. It was interesting to see how quickly he assimilated that Alicia isn't going to give their relationship another chance so he switched to Help me. She left but I think he would've gone down the "help for the sake of the children" route. I laughed at how that scene ( ... )

I had the exact issues with these fudge-type bars I make as well. I added a bit of extra flour and repositioned the rack in the oven a little higher and it seemed to work. Also, run a knife immediately around the edges of the pan when it comes out to keep the sides from sticking, which has been my problem.

I love the writing on The Good Wife, the characterization especially -- all the characters are real and flawed; and beautifully acted.
