If you write (have written) in one (or more!) of these fandoms*, Remix needs youNew SPN tonight! I didn't get nearly as much writing done during the hiatus as I'd have liked, but since that seems to be the case for me all the time with writing now, I guess I'm just going to have to deal with it. I need to carve out more time for that, but it's hard ( Read more... )

I really loved Lee early on, but by mid season two the shine had really worn off. I think that your "letter" sums it up well (it's probably why I have no patience for Bill in 4.5 either). Dee got particularly shafted by that storyline; I really missed seeing her written as a character, rather than as Lee Adama's girlfriend/wife/ex-wife :/

A+ to Downloaded. I know that it turns a lot of fans off because they're more interested in humanity and the political commentary to be found there, but I think there's a ton to dissect and find interesting in Cylon society as well. 4.0 was especially good for that, though I do wish they'd explored more of the impact of giving sentience back to the Centurions.

ha! Yes. By the end, I was all, clearly, Lee gets his emo from dear old dad, and I really loved Adama early on.

Me, too! And I guess Caprica is exploring how the Centurions were the ones who came up with monotheism, but I'd have liked to have seen more of them.

Excellent.

though I would have loved Lee/Dee/Kara more.

I would have loved Kara/Sam/Lee, so I hear you. *g*

A lot of Ron's ideas I loved, but found his execution absolutely maddening.

Yeah. Or they would shift horses mid-race, as it were, so what you thought they were going to do and then what actually happened didn't seem to ever quite line up.

You're gonna kill me, but I can't remember how many stories a writer needs to qualify for a particular fandom. If it's five stories of at least 1000 words each, I qualify for NCIS and therefore need an AO3 code to sign up.

It's 5 stories of at least 500 words, or 7 stories of at least 100 words, so you would make it with NCIS. Possibly with SGA, too.

And the invite is on the way.
