We're supposed to quote BSG since it is BSG finale day?

Adama: Starbuck, what do you hear?
Starbuck: Nothing but the rain.
Adama: Then grab your gun and bring in the cat.
Starbuck: Boom, boom, boom!
Oh, like I wasn't going to quote that. I imagine it might be the subject line of my post-finale post. Either that or, "Sometimes you've gotta roll ( Read more... )

tv: supernatural, starbuck is my tv girlfriend, the boy/boy melodrama

I was thinking exactly the same thing...and that what was a season arc on Buffy, is a series arc on SPN.

I have a feeling that you're right. And I bet it's so Luci can use Sam as a meatsuit, because it seems like since even angels need meatsuits I'm guessing Lucifer's gonna need one anyway. And one with additional magicky powers? Bonus.

(Also, why is it that Anna fell so she could try the human thing and is on the angelic hitlist, and yet Uriel had switched sides with no one noticing? I mean, beyond shitty writing. :P)

Exactly.

Seriously! Unless they are going with the idea that God really is absent or uncaring, which is also a possibility, but I do not believe these writers have the chops to pull that sort of thing off.

Then who put the hit on Anna? The people Uriel's siding with? The idea of atheistic angels freaks me out, I have to tell you; just like when Tessa said there were no miracles.

Well, the hit was out on Anna since she fell. Who knows when God decided to take a vacation (if indeed, s/he has).
