Heh. I am at the point where I might like it better to let it go with good feelings.
Is it wrong that a small part of me really wants FNL to stick around because I'll be moving to Austin in a little over a year? I just - I REALLY REALLY REALLY need to tell Connie Britton how much ass she kicks to her face at least once in this life.
I'm not sure I want another season of FNL. Heresy, I know!
But what if it sucks? What if they try to keep Tim and Tyra around? What if they try to make it all about Lyla? What if they get trapped by failtastic writers and it turns into The OC in Dillon because their two showrunners are working on other shows? What if they try to deal with racial issues and it becomes failtastic?
I would rather stay with what I got than have them give me more and have it suck. Or even be only okay.
I think this season ended in a spot where it would be organic to refocus on Eric and Tami, and bring in a whole new slate of kids (except for Julie, of course), and I'd want to see what they could do with that, but I also don't want my good feelings about the show ruined, especially after they had such a strong comeback in season 3.

I don't know what to think about the FNL news. Like you, I'm ready to let it go. But if they have more stories to tell...?
