Also, I really like Veronica's black choker. Apparently it and the star necklace were stolen, and that's why she doesn't wear them in season 2?

I'm not sure why Veronica doesn't wear the choker any more, but she still has the necklace, which was Lilly's (and is stolen in season three).

I don't know for sure what choker you mean, as I've never watched the show, but there's an LJ user who was taking orders for what I think you mean until just recently, and might be able to hook you up:

I don't think I could make the twisty cord like that or I'd offer to make you one.

Yeah, I saw that. I wasn't sure she was still taking orders, and I don't have a working paypal account anyway. Thanks for the link, though.

I always wondered if the second season would have worked better if it had been centered around Veronica's mother in some way. I can't remember the timings of everything - when did she run off with Veronica's money?

Yeah, I always thought that would have been a perfect storyline for them to tackle, since Lianne left at the end of season 1, but instead we got that ridiculous bus thing in season 2, which even Veronica didn't really care about for half the season, and then the mishandled rape arc in season 3.

Ah, it was season 1. The bus thing was odd. For another show, investigating the crash, person by person in each episode could have worked, but the viewers were interested in how the mystery affected Veronica, not the mystery itself. And then when we actually found out the culprit and the motive it didn't make much sense in terms of everything that happened before. If the crash had happened in the last episode of season 1 I guess it might have worked better.

I try not to think too much about season 3.

Yeah, the bus crash just wasn't emotionally resonant for Veronica, even though she thought it might be a possible attempt on her life. The last arc of season three was pretty cool, but the rest of it was... not so much.

We were talking about it on Monday, and I am writing a SPN/VM crossover, so it seemed like a good time. I don't know what anybody else's reasons are.

Did you notice that when Weevil buys a car, it's an Impala, also? Just like Dean's, only a ... um slightly ... different color.

I didn't start watching until season 3, but when I bought the DVDs after the series ended ... man, I could watch season 1 over and over and over again. And season 2 at least over and over again.

Does he? I don't remember that. Huh.

Season 1 is so so good. The other two seasons are... less so, imo.
