Yeah, I noticed that on rewatch, Duncan is a lot less annoying. I wonder if it's more because we know what's going on with him on rewatch, so we're more sympathetic to his issues, or whether it's because (on my first run through S1) I was resisting the inevitable Duncan/Veronica get-back-together storyline and it's easier to like Duncan when you know that's not going to happen (S2? What S2?)

I think it's probably a combination of both, but I just watched An Echolls Family Christmas, and I was like, wow, I actually kind of like Duncan here. Also, knowing that Jake Kane isn't the murderer means I don't have to resist my natural sympathy for him (BAYLISS).

And yeah, I am completely pretending season 2 and 3 didn't happen.

I'm all "who on God's earth would keep Keith Mars from parenting?"

Seriously!

I haven't seen Flashpoint, but I do love Keith.

WALLACE! There really needs to be more Wallace in all of VM. Veronica and Wallace are like peanut butter and jelly. If you only put one on your sandwich, you can still eat it, but it won't be as delicious. TRUFAX.

(And yay Obama!)

When I dream, that house is still the house I live in, you know?

I so get that. I still dream a lot about the house where I lived longest as a kid, even though we moved away from it in 1988. It's somehow fundamentally MY HOUSE.

*nod nod*

I lived in that house until I was 23, and my parents were there for almost ten years after that before they moved, so, yeah.
