the SPN/Bones crossover with the ritual sacrifices

!!!!! I am speechless from the sheer level of awesome this idea contains.

But you could totally write these without actually signing up for the challenge?

Isn't it awesome? Booth and Dean kicking down doors! Sam and Hodgins being geeky! Dean hitting on Angela and Brennan and Cam! Sweets trying to psychoanalyze him! Brennan denying the supernatural exists! It would be totally awesome!

Sadly, I don't know if I would write them without deadline pressure. I certainly want to, but *waves hands* I am easily distracted, and plot is not my strong point, and both ideas need some serious plotting.

I LOVE crossovers and cannot in good conscience try and tell you NOT to sign up for that. Those stories sound AWESOME, especially the SPN/BTVS one.

Someone else who reads Heyer! (one of my guilty pleasures, quite unlike most of my usual reading matter.)

The Grand Sophy is one of my favourites. I don't think I've read Devil's Cub - but then, my Heyer collection has come about because my mother-in-law (another Heyer fan) buys me the books when she finds them on secondhand stalls.

I enjoyed The Grand Sophy, but Devil's Cub is still my favorite. I highly recommend it. And yeah, I first started reading them because my mom is a fan of Regencies (though she doesn't like Heyer, oddly enough), and I still use them as comfort reading.

I really enjoyed The Grand Sophy - Sophy herself is just so muh FUN. :D

And wow, even if you don't sign up for that challenge, those stories sound awesome.

She really is. And I hope to eventually write both of those stories. If I can figure out the plotting.

... darn you for linking to that crossover comm! *whimpers* I could finish the crossover with American Gods! Or with PotC! Or do the one with CSI: Vegas, or with the Tanya Huff novels that will entertain me and maybe three other people!

*breathes* Alternatively, I could just stick to writing my dissertation, right? Right? *facepalm*

However, the idea of you writing the Bones crossover fills me with so much glee. SO MUCH. Brennan&Booth + Winchesters + the Lab = supernatural crime-solving comedy GOLD.

It's really tempting, right? I ended up not signing up, but I still want to write both of those stories.
