I went to my interview this morning, and after the recruiter's big speech about being corporate and conservative in my clothing, the guy who interviewed me was wearing a flannel and a pair of dockers. (Admittedly the flannel was tucked in, but still. Plaid flannel. *snerk*) I suppose the people who are giving the jobs out have that luxury, while ( Read more... )

Go you, meeting with the recruiter!

I think Chuck does need to step back from his shock and realize a few things about the situation, what utter hell his life would become (and his family wouldn't be safe either). And Sarah is going to be buttoning it up and compartmentalizing and will repress how what she did made her feel and ahjksfhjkldfghjkl;djkh

Well, given that she is a CIA operative, I would hope she's mostly dealt with that kind of guilt before, but we'll see.

Yeah, but you could see her hesitation beforehand. I'm sure she's killed before, and deal with that; and she didn't know Chuck was watching. But I think given this guy was not an assassin, not sent to immediately kill anyone, she wasn't immediately saving anyone's life that minute, maybe this kill is different for her?

Anyway, I'm curious how this'll play out (but wah! no new eps until February!)

Maybe. I mean, obviously, I don't want her to be a remorseless killer, but she *is* a CIA agent, so I'd rather less angst of that nature and more goofy goodness.

I didn't even catch the Ned Ryerson shout out, and my all-time favorite movie is Groundhog Day. Eee!

Chuck was awesome this week. Actually, everything tonight has been awesome - even Heroes, which has had some major suckitude lately.

Yeah, the first time they said it I was like, "Wait, did they just--" and then they brought it up onscreen and it was spelled differently (there was an H in there somewhere), but I was like, NED RYERSON FOR REAL! Hee!

Chuck is always wonderful, I love this show so much.

About what Sarah did, I don't think we were supposed to think she was wrong in pulling the trigger, we got the whole spiel from the Fulcrum agent about how it would come out anyway even with him in jail but Chuck came in at the end, and only heard the part where the guy says that he's giving up and for her to handcuff him. I think vaguely knowing it could go to hell vs. explicitly hearing it would have made a difference, but since he didn't, Sarah's actions seemed that much more shockingly cold-blooded. Poor Sarah and poor Chuck.

I wish this show would never ever end. How am I supposed to wait for February?

And good luck with the job :)

Well, I really hope Chuck finds out soon. I get annoyed by that kind of "he didn't hear the whole conversation" plot if it stretches on for too long, because it's so easily cleared up with a five minute conversation.

And there is good tv coming back in January to fill the gap! BSG! Burn Notice! SPN!

And good luck with the job

Thank you!
