This made me grin and grin. Dan/Dana isn't a pairing that I read very often, but it worked here in spades. Pitch-perfect banter ('storied'! Eeee!), and very true to the show.

Heeeeee! This is so, so clever. I started listing all the lines I thought were brilliant, and then I realized I was, like, rewriting your story. But I also have to single out the sportsmanship line, which is just vintage SN, and also "conservation of cynicism." Oh, they are so adorably dorky.

Also, I love how Dan spends so much of the meeting trying to maneuver his way into Dana's good graces. Because Dana totally would wear the pants in that relationship. No question. (And it would be exactly this hot.)

Hooray! You've got the characters down, of course, and I love the way you draw the tension between them, and the way Casey's there with them although not actually there. Sporty and sexy.
