Really loved the Dean/Faith & Sam story - read it this morning and was thus late for work. Very hot, and very true. Sam hijacking the whole thing really didn't take away from the hotness.

Hmm, i sort of think it's funnier without, since it makes it very specific rather than a generic state of being statement. Also, the fact that I know about a billion sams. If it were hijacked by Gandalf's existential crisis, it would be different.

Thanks so much. I think it's really interesting that Sam and Dean take opposite approaches with the main significant others in their lives, and still end up back in the same spot - Sam denies all connection to the hunting world and lies about everything, and it ends badly; Dean opens up and tells the truth, and it ends badly (though not quite as badly as Jess did, poor dear). Either way, they're screwed.
