[He hasn't been able to leave his bed. Not since he woke up. And honestly a bit of him wonders if he'll leave it again. He doesn't want to, after all, there wasn't really much else out there for him. He had lost his brother and now he's lost someone he loved probably more than he should have. So much heartbreak and loneliness, that keen sound of ( Read more... )

[He had never once met the person that meant so much to his little remaining piece of family - though he knew his scent from visits to the cabin, there had never been a time when he'd had the opportunity or will to meet the man that his twin loved more than anything. And so when he disappeared, not a single thing in his own world changed; he woke up curled up with his roommate, and had gone about his day the way he usually did.

It wasn't until later in the evening that he decided his twin needed a visit after being gone for so damn long, and he stepped through the warm night courtyard that led to the cabin, entering without bothering to knock - and instantly, something was wrong.

The only scent in the place was that of Allen's, the three wee things he kept around him, and he himself.

The angel... it wasn't there.

ShitHe makes his way through the house quickly, shoving the door open to Allen's bedroom and peering inside, his heart falling when he finally catches sight of him on the bed. And he closes the door, quickly making his ( ... )

[Allen wishes that he had, if just to approve even if the Lavi that the young vampire had given his heart to was one of those higher up on the foodchain. It would have done him good, he thinks, to have run into the angel, to know how they could just...shut you down with their mere presence when their wings were cast out. But really he wanted Allen to see that they weren't scary too. And now that chance is gone ( ... )

[He can barely hear the odd little desires - just that they aren't for anything really good, more destructive than anything, and-- that, more than anything maybe, is a feeling he could understand.

He wasn't like Lavi. He couldn't curl up with someone and make things better. His first reaction upon losing something precious was the intense urge to break something, to be the only thing left standing in a room, to show he wasn't broken--

If he were a worse person, that baby wouldn't have survived when he killed Danny.

....he doubted it was that bad in his twin, though. He'd never been very violent to begin with - and Hobo hesitates, before lifting a hand to place it over the one that Allen insists on staring down at. You in there, twin?]

[Just once, does he think he could do that for his twin?

Oh, he'll get angry. He'll probably tear the whole cabin apart if he isn't stopped later on, wouldn't want to stay there anymore. It's just reminders that he doesn't want. But right now Allen can't fuel that kind of rage, it's too swallowed by the loss and heartbreak, a horribly hollow noise. It was simply a side he never chose to show everyone.

His whole body starts at the touch but it doesn't pull away. Still it seems like it takes ten forevers for the sensation of it to catch up and make itself known to Allen's brain. Finally the sound of recognition. But again it takes his body so long to actually look up at the hobo.

And he just. Breaks down again.

Reaching up for his twin and displacing his little companions to wrap his arms around Allen's torso and hide his face and the new tears in his shirt. There's a small relief through all the sadness.

He's not alone. He still has his twin.]
