Summary: How Sam Winchester came to meet and fall in love with Jessica Moore.
Warnings: Some light smut.
Jessica Moore was everything Sam had wanted in a girl and more. She was beautiful, she was smart, she was artistic, and she didn’t care about his past. She had come from a troubled childhood too and rarely spoke of life before Stanford and that was fine for Sam. It fact, more then fine, it was great. Granted, she still spoke to her parents only once in a blue moon, but her family life was nearly obsolete. The past was behind them and the present is what needed to be taken into accordance, and that’s all that mattered to them.
He’d met her in his first year of college. After Sam had saved up enough money, he said goodbye to his family in probably not so nice of a way, and headed to California. Since his grades were good enough throughout high-school, Sam had been able to attend one of California’s top schools, Stanford. Though he’d constantly been on the road and unable to complete an entire year at one school, Sam would take all the prerequisite courses required to make it into the law division.
Art just happened to be an activity he found enjoyable in his spare time, and so Sam decided to take a history class on world art. And that’s where he met the love of his life, Jessica. At first it was just little words exchanged between the two, then came the flirting, but Sam was no where like his brother when it came to making a move. He was more interested in a long term relationship instead of a one night fling where he never spoke to the girl again. But things just happened to piece together from there on out.
While deciding to team up and work on a project together one evening at a small coffee shop which resulted in them actually talking and not doing their school work, Jessica leaned in and kissed him. Since that day, their casual get-togethers became more than casual and Sam was soon in bed wrapping his arms around her body and embracing her warmth. She was his first, as he suspected he was hers, but since that day, he’d never been more in love.
Ever since Sam had been under the care of Dad, he never stayed around town long enough to have a steady girlfriend and he didn’t take pleasure in doing what his brother did in getting into bed with as many women as possible from that town before they left. Soon after he’d made love with her, the two decided to move in together, and Sam couldn’t have been happier with their decision as she was even more enjoyable to be around all the time. Sam’s love with Jessica was so strong that one night he contemplated asking for her hand in marriage, and though he wasn’t ready to ask then, Sam still had this life changing question running throughout his head constantly. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.
