I love the movie (and really need to watch it again -- possibly tonight) and then the musical came along and well...Transylvania Mania is my bad day song. It will most likely be the song that consoles me on the way home tonight (damn power outages tripling my commute).

I think I saw it like three times when it was playing in town.

I need to see the movie again. I've never seen the musical, though. I didn't even know there was one! And now I feel like a bad fan, because I bet the musical is amazing.

There was! See if you can locate the soundtrack. The story is exactly the same so you should have no problem following along. It's AMAZING. Absolutely AMAZING.

I just have this guy, really. Though if you go by some canons (such as Dean Koontz's series, which I very badly need to read), Victor figured out a way to be immortal, or at least replace parts as they died off, and kept right on ticking.

Also, what amuses me most about Young Frankenstein (-- one of the things, because really, it's just fantastic) is that since he's from Geneva, it would be pronounced Frahnk-en-schteen. Or something close to it.
