Sooo - I got 20 small wad buttons made yesterday and started to sew the lining for a new fitted gown. I wasn't happy with the tensions. So I played around, opened things up - got rid of (mumbly, mumbly) amts of felted fabric in all the wrong places inside my workhorse machine and BANG

Acme? OHHhh - I am being stupid today - but the only "Acme" I can think of is Coyote and Road Runner?? Teeheehee

My primary machine (a Kenmore from @ 17 years ago) is running GREAT!! I just finished sewing the body and lining for a new dress (hope to wear it on Saturday). Today: Sleeves, sew lining to fashion layer - and then start on the eyelets.

Yeah - the old Singers are Solid. New ones - I'm not impressed!
