UPDATE: Pennsic MADNESS
Sooo - I got 20 small wad buttons made yesterday and started to sew the lining for a new fitted gown. I wasn't happy with the tensions. So I played around, opened things up - got rid of (mumbly, mumbly) amts of felted fabric in all the wrong places inside my workhorse machine and BANG!!!
The timing went kafluey.
Luckily, there is a place in town that is AWESOME. I took that machine and another in today - 45 minutes later, both are working beautifully and I am back in business. WooHoo!! More sewing tonight. :) :)
Also - this place has a Singer sewing machine from the early 1940's. It's in a wooden desk/cabinet (a 660???) - he is going to be re-wiring. Selling for $250 when done. Any takers? (contact me privately - and I will give you his #). :) :)
Did I mention the guy is AWESOME!! :)
