She was almost to the 12th before Kate admitted to herself that walking to work had been a terrible idea. Terrible, but necessary. She knew she would have jumped out of her skin if she had had to sit still on the subway surrounded by people, despite her exhaustion.

Oh...gosh...I never leave reviews on this site...but there's always a first time for everything. This was adorable and delicious. I love it when a story makes me laugh out loud and giggle...especially first thing in the morning ;o) You MUST continue...please :o)))))

I'm glad you came out of lurkdom.:) I am really going to try and finish this, but I have a tendency to extend things way past what I intended, and on top of that I am not a very fast writer. Very nice chapter. The ferret had me LOL. I am not sure what this is. Must google it. Some sort of squirrel like creature I presume. Also, was it mentioned in an episode if Jenny taught at a kindergarden?
I love the way you captured Beckett's thoughts about Castle.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Ferrets are like smaller weasel s. Some people like them as pets, but I think they are disgusting. I just made up the part about Jenny teaching kindergarten, but she seems like a kindergarten teacher to me. :) Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!,

I'm so glad you liked Beckett, because I was worried she was a little too emotional. But one of the reasons I love is because I secretly think that she might be that emotional sometimes.:)
