Between the circus cat burglars and the ferret, this seems like the kind of thing we'd see on an episode. Also, it seems very in character for Beckett to be worried/upset about mooning over Castle. Thanks for sharing this. I'm looking forward to reading more.

Oh god, there's nothing like experiencing first love post-adolescence to make you feel like a complete and utter idiot. I could very much see this happening to Beckett (and maybe it is -- look at all those sekrit squirrel smiles she's been giving him of late). I'd totally love to see more of this!
