So in a weird twist of fate, I'll be coming home in two days. I'm planning on coming to B'ham a week from tomorrow (June 22nd). I think we're trying to plan some sort of gathering (dinner, general hanging out) for the evening. Everyone is invited.

Happy Birthday Brett!!!! Hope you don't have to attend to an animal emergency today. You deserve to go out and have a great time tonight.

So yesterday I had to drive to Boston with Tanya to learn a technique from a collaborator at teh VA. The trip was very successful. WE learned until our brains were full. We can now really move forward with the behavioral project. I just wish it hadn't involved 4 hours of driving and me getting up at 4am....I beat today.

So Hot Fuzz? Gonna be awesome or suck balls? I'm hoping for awesome. Simon Pegg is the new Ricky Gervais.

The title may be misleading since some of you knew I was going to the Natural History Museum before the Musical. They do have a butterfly conservatory, but it cost extra to go in. No the butterflies describe how I'm feeling today since I have to give the seminar in about 4 hours ( Read more... )

I'm making my grand return to NYC tomorrow. It's been probably 14 years since I've been there. I'm totally stoked. I found a parking garage to park in all day for only $10. We're going to the Natural History Museum first. Haven't been to that since I was 10. Anyone have any suggestions on what exhibits to make sure and hit? Dinner at Chin's ( Read more... )
