Electronics and DST are a tricky thing nowadays, not least because -- if I remember correctly -- DST on/off dates changed by a week or so a few years back. (Also, I think there are some local jurisdictions within larger time zones that vary the switchover dates by a week or so from the relevant time zone's general practice ( ... )

Its connection is tenuous when it's on my nightstand, so in the past, we just put it close to the window and hoped it would fix itself (worked about 50% of the time). The clock has now reverted to standard time twice since the time chance, once after it changed itself to DST at the correct time, and once after we manually changed it back to DST. A replacement has been ordered because alarm clocks that think they know better than we do are not useful.

It was unbelievable. I'm so happy people are pushing the envelope of choral performance so hard. I mean, sure, most choral concerts have themes, but to have the theme inform everything from the transitions to the performance locations to the composition of the choir, and have such a spectacularly put-together program to boot with music never-before-heard locally. It was a hell of a thing.
