I'm pleased to report that my back felt much better by the end of the day yesterday, and last night's sleep made it no worse. There's still a ghost of a knot there that I may ask Mr. 42 to apply thumbs to later this evening, but it's nice to be able to breathe deeply without it hitching and me whining pathetically

And the Palestrina we're doing is THIS gorgeous thing. Not for nothing is it one of the most famous pieces of Renaissance polyphony ever. I love how much punch polyphony packs into a tiny space. Like emo!Purcell, which is GOAT.

I truly love Palestrina. I used to have a bunch of music but it was for iTunes and I don't do iTunes anymore :( I would love to get my hands on some at some point.
