And in fact (as I noted when I uploaded the AO3 text), I had absolutely no idea at the time how fortuitous I'd been in choosing my crossover character. [Indeed, technically I still don't, as the link in question evidently goes to a friends-locked post. OTOH, that may be easily fixed, as I will be friending this LJ about three seconds after I post this based on combined mutual interests....]

Oh, that definitely does justice to Mary. And I must admit to not-so-occasionally singing while standing at bus stops (probably fortunately, usually no one else is waiting at my particular stops at the time).

I wore the Mary costume to Comic-Con a couple of years ago and was inundated with photo requests, more than any other costume I've worn. It was the closest I've come to being famous :D
