It's been about three weeks since I moved back from college. I am apparently unable to get a job. I still have to move all of my college stuff into my room, so I've been spending my days cleaning out the dresser and the closet (I'll tackle the bookcase next). Honestly, this is fucking awesome. I'm a fan of the live-action flicks, but I didn't even know there was an animated series.

You didn't know there was an animated series because it was on KidsWB, which is now part of the CW, and it was just as good at advertising things as its fail!parent is now. *points to only TMTAS icon she has*

Someone put the first episode on YouTube if you want to check it out. I'll warn you, though, it was one of those things that seemed good in theory, but didn't really work out and then miracled its way into a second season. It was awesome when I was 11, though.

Wow it took me this entire post and Cas' comment to realize this is what inspired the The Mummy movies.

Actually, the 1999 movie and its sequels were based off the 1930's Mummy movie, and the series was based off the first two movies.

I've gotten pretty used to people thinking I'm a freak. It's kinda fun ,actually.

Puling all of that stuff out of the box, though, was crazy. I'd forgotten I had that much.

Yeah. The Mummy Cartoon was my very first fandom, all the way back in junior high. It's why I started writing fanfiction, got photoshop, and blah blah blah 9 years later I still have all the stuff.

And I totally don't have room for all the stuff. That's why it's in a box in my closet.
