Kodak Easy Share Gallery

Aug 07, 2007 19:39

I got tired of trying to upload all of the pictures from our trip to French Lick to my LJ Gallery, so I decided to create an Easy Share Gallery to make it possible for anyone who is interested to see ALL of the pictures in one shot. There are 194 pictures in all, not counting the camera phone ones that I had already posted. You have seen about ten ( Read more... )

I looked through them all in order!
*grin*

It looks like such a wonderful place! I liked it as soon as I saw your pictures in person.

I thought you would like it (them?) a lot and I got the impression that Manolo did too? It's better when they are in order though, don't you think? *J*

I can see the progression when they´re in order but it was still fun to see them in person.

Oh but of course! I still don't understand why that CD didn't burn them in the order that I had them set up. Obviously I don't have the mind for the tech stuff!

I bet you really loved my tilted photos? *hehe*
We are sure not professional photographers, but I think that they show what we wanted to show?

I bet Ed never even gives them a glance. *J* His photos are so beautiful but I can't bring myself to comment on them anymore. :-(

I'd LOVE to vacation at a place like that ... but I'm not sure about GARY ...

SUE ... I don't know what you mean about the KODAK Gallery not allowing you to enlarge your photos ... When you share an album ... I'm under the impression that it's pretty much a FULL SCREEN viewing .... but the size is determined by the RESOLUTION of the photo. Some of your pictures are smaller than others ... might those be the ones you took from your phone? If they were larger ... they would be pixilated!!

I thought the album was great ... and I too looked at all the pictures from the beginning to the end ... in order. I loved that library and the men's smoking room!! hahahha AND ... I enjoyed looking at the pictures.

I'm sorry you were disappointed in the Gallery.

I don't understand what happened with the pictures because they were all from my regular camera and they were all sized at 75%. If I load them into LJ they will show up huge on the last click and are not pixilated.
The gallery is okay. It's just that when I look at them in the Kodak program on my computer I can really zoom in on them and see details. It's really super. The gallery is okay and had lots of nice, and easy, features. I was only disappointed with not being able to zoom in on the photos.

Does Gary like to play golf? Or gamble? Or ride horses? Or play pool? Or swim? Or play video games? Or bowl? The hotels, which are affiliated, have all of those things, and more. I also bet he would enjoy the train museum. West Baden even had a Harley Davidson shop... *J*

Robert absolutely loved it there. In fact, it was originally his idea. But he is a history loving guy.

You don't have to re-size your pictures to put them up on the gallery ... as a matter of fact ..it's better if you don't.

In the past ... I've only loaded pictures to the Gallery so I could have them printed. It's just recently that I've tried posting the link to LJ ... especially when I have so many pictures. I also have CAKE albums in the Gallery ... in case I have a customer who wants to see pictures.

Gary would like the HISTORY and the museum .... LOL ... I'm sure he would enjoy it too ... once he was there.

I'd go crazy taking pictures of EVERYTHING ... just as you did .... your pictures are wonderful.

Awww... thank you! I really did want to share the experience. They were working on the landscaping while we were there so I am sure that it's going to be even prettier outside, especially next spring! (That is IF the deer don't devour everything first!) They were planting lots of flowering trees and bushes.

I had already re-sized them for LJ purposes when you posted your gallery. I had to upload them the way they were already. :-( I will know better next time.
I still really like the LJ galleries for just a few pictures to show. Once you get the hang of doing it, there is nothing hard about posting them that way either.

I'm thinking if Stan would be willing to take a few days off, that would be a fantastic place to go.

I think it has something for everyone, and if you like history you would LOVE it.
Let him get some cash built up... then GO FOR IT! *grin*

I love history. It's one of my favorite things to read about and look at historic buildings.

That's good! History is so fastinating. I love it too, although I don't have the need to read EVERY sign like my husband does. *grin* Going to Gettsyburg with him was a bit... frustrating... but he understood and remembered everything that he saw! (This is the man who sometimes forgets normal errands.)
I grew up surrounded by history that was almost still alive. I sure appreciate it now!

Hi Mrs hood puppy :-)
Thank you very much for you card from The West Baden Spring hotel. I liked it and I was so happy to get it.

Your kodak site is working well. Very good to put up the pictures there. But I have not seen all the pictures yet. I will do it and comment better later.

I also went back to you earlier postings and looked at the pictures. Also there I want to go back and comment later.

I first had to go to the web and find out what French Lick and West Baden was. Now I know it and understand and I can understand your pictures better.

Yes I like the card very much. Thank you for thinking of me. :)

You are very welcome. I am currently redoing some of the wording on the Kodak site so that it's a little more clear. I'm almost finished with it. I'm glad you looked up what they are!
