While Supes can claim invulnerability, he's been shown to take damage from a significant-enough amount of punishment. I fully believe Hulk could deal this amount of punishment, though it still wouldn't be an easy fight, if for any reason due to Superman's array of powers beyond simple strength and durability.

...good lord that fist is almost bigger than Hulk's torso

I've seen the source of the first image (hell, I have it upstairs somewhere), but where are the others from?

The first is obviously the 2nd teamup between Superman & Spidey. Second is from the Hulk vs Superman 1 shot that came out in either the alte 90's or just a bit into 2000...

...and the last is probably fan art. Was looking for shots of Mr. Fixit when I found it.

Bull.

As much as I hate Superman (and all of DC, for that matter), he would wipe the floor with Hulk. If I have to even say why, then the communists have already won.

Can't agree with you there. Hulk is pretty damned strong but the point of his power is that he can get infinitely more strong the madder he gets. Whereas Superman is extremely strong but he doesn't generally get stronger unless he's a hell of a lot closer to the sun.

That and Big Blue holds back cuz he's afraid of killing someone. Big Green keeps smashing until whatever he's hitting stops hitting back.
