It's been awhile since I've read Watchmen but I basically remember most of it and in some semblance of the right order. That said, while I know he didn't start out that way...shouldn't this guy be a bit chubbier here?

The actor did claim to have gained weight for the role (though I can't find the article right now that states this.) I guess he's just "Hollywood Fat(TM)"

Y'know, I thought the same thing. Then again, in this and some other screenshots, his torso looks a little thick and round rather than slim and cut.

But yeah... he's not nearly as chubby looking as he is in the comics. That and to me, Veidt looks a little young.

age thing is less an issue with me, what I saw of the trailer gives me the impression they're staying on point with the graphic novel so it should start with him young but older as the piece progresses
