Meanwhile, Anna is super upfront with Jeremy about the whole 'I need to get my mom out of the tomb thing' (since he's super into bloodplay and all - why hide shit?) and so the whole gang helps her free Pearl and Alaric/Jenna become parents to the tomb-vamps, teaching them how to use cell phones and youtube and assimilate into life again.

Elena meets Damon the night of the bonfire, after breaking up with Matt, but instead of him compelling her to forget, she calls her parents to send them home and she's out getting coffee with Damon when her parents die. i don't even go here anymore but i always assumed non-orphaned Elena would. but that's none of my business.
Caroline and Bonnie are SUPER gay and Tyler/Matt are EQUALLY SUPER GAY. I BELIEVE IT
my Anna/Jeremy bias is pleased.
Sometimes there are montages of her teaching university classes and everyone staring at her cleavage. [eyes glaze over]
