So here we go, another "Ellen hates commerical air travel" rant. That's becuase the whole process never fails to piss me off... the sheer inefficiency, the fear-mongering, the whole she-bang is a circus at best. It also doesn't help that it's now Tourist Season and this means... the airport is full of travelers that need to have their hands held at

You're making me very nervous for my trip to flordia. ^^; I haven't been on a plane or in a airport since my trip to Europe back in 2000 before 9-11 so I'm scared to death to have to go through security and then have to worry about our luggage getting lost(I live near the worst airport for that sort of thing, actually our airport was voted the worst for the country I believe or something like that) I'm still trying to actually buy tickets too and am in way over my head. I'm hoping when my aunt comes back from her latest trip she can help me because my poor boyfriend just doesn't have the time or patience for it(if it weren't for my planning the whole trip we wouldn't be going, which is why he is ok paying for all of it). I've come to the conclusion I'm more scared of airports than airplanes. Once we are in the air I actually rather like flying and find it fun.

Oh, crap! I didn't mean to make you nervous. :( Airports just suck, and I've just spent so much time going through them that I have no patience left for dealing with them and I'm sick of going through the hoops. If you get there a few hours beforehand, you shouldn't have any real problems. Hopefully by now your Aunt has been able to help you get tickets!
