Notes: This is certainly not a birthday drabble for anyone, especially not owlmoose, because I really don't do things like write brithday drabbles. This is, however, a wholly depressing first-person attempt at Yuna.

( When I was fifteen, I went to visit Bevelle, mostly at Lulu's insistence... )

Eeee, Yuna!

Well, that was vaguely haunting in a good way. Makes me want to finish that CRAZY FFX-2 story I've had sitting in WIP forever.

Well, your story and a discussion with a friend of mine has got me thinking on that game. And while I didn't actually give a fig for a lot of the side things, I really really loved watching Yuna run around and be her age and it just made me smile lots.

I'm weird though. XD FFX probably has my favorite set of main girls evar, which is why Paine slightly disappointed me, as I loved Lulu so much and wanted her back in. XD

Leblanc, though, cracked my shit up.

Since this is not birthday fic, I most definitely do not thank you. ;)

This is a great snippet; the interaction between them seems very real, and I particularly love all the things Kinoc leaves unsaid, and how Yuna doesn't understand, but saves it for later when she can understand.

Because he was willing to lay down his life for Lord Braska, that tells more of your father's character than will ever be set down in the histories.

I love this line, and all it says about Auron, and Braska, and even Kinoc.

I'm glad you liked it! I found myself editing and re-editing to achieve the sparseness I wanted...must resist overly complex sentences and clunky imagery. Not that I'm sure it's properly Yuna, but it was a fun challenge.
