They've tortured you enough. Maybe you can ask them to move on: just fix your glasses and go torture someone else. Poor thing! :/

If only they would! I would love more than anything to never see them again. :(

Ugh, I do hope things get sorted out for you soon!
Is the one you've gone to in Collins place? Cause I just found a complaint from there online from last year with the same level of incompetence. T_T

Yep, that's the one. :( Wish I'd known that first - just spoke to someone at work who also had a crap experience with them. And now I'm stuck unless I cut my losses and just buy new glasses somewhere else (they're still under warranty, see) - wanting so much to do that! Well, this is their last chance, I can tell you...

Out of curiousity, where did you see this bad review?

If you search for them you'll find actually 3-4 complaints about them all saying similar things - that they take weeks to get the glasses together, will say "can't help you" if they don't want to deal with your problems and so on. :/

Ugh man, I hope it all gets resolved and with any luck you can find a more reliable place in the future, those people sound utterly useless. :/

They really are. :( I will never be going there again after they attempt getting my latest glasses right, that's for sure!

Sounds sooo frustrating, good on you for being bolshie. You know me, the Grampa Simpson technique.. "Dear Mr President, there are way too many states, please remove three. I am not a crackpot.." But seriously, if you feel able to explain the case clearly I would call Consumer affairs 1300 55 81 81 or contact the regulatory board for optometry http://www.optometryboard.gov.au. Love Rach

Hilariously, LJ just asked me if I wanted to read "1 suspicious comment". So, hello suspicious sister of mine. :) Thank you for your good advice - I may have to do that if I end up having to demand a refund - I am giving them one more chance to fix it - I kind of wish I hadn't agreed to that now, but there you are - and yeah, then I will have to have the horrible task of trying for a refund. So they are very good links for getting support on that!

Also, sorry, I never tried to call you back after you rang the other day - my only excuse is I have been very distracted by my glasses-related misery, as you see above. But I would still like to chat with you, especially before I go away to Denmark! Perhaps I will try for next week, if that suits you - I need many non-seeing related tasks, as SpecSavers will have my glasses - again. :(
