Matryoshka Handlers

AWE-SOME! I once had this story about a woman who'd been taken by an eviiiilll "organization" that had turned her into what I was saying was a "Matryoshka" doll. They'd stripped her down, layer by layer, before building her back up into a... well, this girl was an assassin, but they could do other things with people.

Such a great concept! I'm seriously interested if this was part of what got truncated due to the time constraints! =DDD

And I really laughed when I picked the dude trudging away with a busted foot in hands! I'm not sure that's really what you meant, but that's how I saw it, and I LOL'd! =DDD

Man, you're right. Great concept for the prompt! Mine is so close to being done. I hate doing all that work and then for nothing. I have so many of those! =( Regardless! I'm so glad you got yours done!

Here's to better weeks for us both!! =D

Reminds me of "They" by Heinlein. I want to read more about what's going on here.

This was wonderful -- it was a lot of fun, with a great twist on the prompt. Very well done!

Very interesting idea! Not what I was expecting at all from the first few sentences :)

Thank you! I find myself doing that a lot, starting off in a very normal setting, and then twisting it to suit my storyline. Probably because I enjoy the modern fantasies like the ones Kevin Hearne writes, although I'm obviously no where close to being in his league. :)

I'm sort of addicted to books and I've never heard of Kevin Hearne, I'm going to go look him up!

He writes Star Wars stuff too I think, but I was talking about his The Iron Druid Chronicles. Loads and loads of fantastic fun. :) Hope you enjoy!
