Linali had pulled on shorts and tennis shoes borrowed from Mai in honor of the occasion before making her way down to the lounge and spotting her partner. He was really spacing out, wasn't he? She leaned down in front of him to catch his attention, grinning widely. "Whatcha thinking about, partner?"

Linali's appearance startled him out of his thoughts. "Linali!" He grinned happily and was out of his seat and had her wrapped in his arms in seconds. He pulled away a moment later, grinning happily. He hadn't really gotten a chance to thank Linali for everything he'd done. After all, he'd taken up her room for the longest time. "I was just thinking about the garden."

She returned the hug gently, mindful of her injuries. "It seems like you're feeling fine, Tsuzuki. I feel better about going out there now." When he pulled away she looked up at him and returned his smile. "Oh really? Making plans? Because I'm pretty sure you're the only one of all of us who has any idea what they're doing." Linali knew that plants needed watered, and that was about the extent of her gardening knowledge.

Tsuzuki tipped his head to the side. "You're still worried about me, Linali?" It shocked him a bit that she was still so concerned for him. He completely ignored the second question because an odd feeling overcame him. Uh oh. He had a reason to worry. The next moment the air was filled with the shrill call of a giant red bird. Suzaku had arrived to give Tsuzuki her punishment for being an idiot.
