Why do I even bother following the results of award shows? They always seem to suck. I've lost a lot of faith in Hollywood now that Avatar won Best Motion Picture Drama. If it wins the Oscar, I'll probably stop paying to see movies entirely.

I can't take seriously a contest where Penelope Cruz can win something...really, and Avatar, well, everyone tells me it's the same story again...so can this be taken seriously?
I am not a 30 Rock girl, maybe it's the sense of humour, but I can't get the Glee obsession, even if I watch it, I won't get it...Also, Robert Downey Jr as Holmes? Hey! the movie is cool and I liked it a lot, but that's not Sherlock!
The only good prizes were for Dexter's people...
So don't get pissed off...

When I first saw the Holmes trailer I thought 'What the what?!' Holmes punching people, things getting blown up...What Sherlock Holmes version have they been reading?! Weird.

I had no intention of watching them either. Until a certain someone mentioned that Mickey Rourke was there last night on Twitter. Ran to my room and set my DVR (good thing too because Eli Roth? Yes plz!!).

Anyway, pretty much anyone anti-NBC at this point is my new best friend. Yes, I have many new best friends by that logic lol. I've hated them since 2005. It's nice to see others joining in finally :D

And you know what I love most about boycotting networks? It's not boycotting when they don't show anything you want to see. Heroes is the only regular show NBC still has that I watch. To me that's the bigger insult and I kinda like it... Yeah, some grudges die with people. Others are born when people die.

NBC screwed up big time. I hope people start watching their shows online. What they did to Conan was terrible.

Jim really was adorable! I smiled the moment I saw him! We watch TBBT every weekend with my mum on TV, and she LOVES Sheldon!

Oh, it feels nice knowing I'm not the only one who think Avatar is overrated. I stopped watching these awards shows 5 years ago. Because they always nominate the same shows and same people, over and over again. If there was any justice, Star Trek TNG and Jack Coleman whould have won awards by now! D:
