WIP: SMCC Center for Culinary Arts
I really did mean to play over the weekend (/finish my gift for Maranatah D:)... but surprise, I got distracted by another building project!
This is the first academic building for the college, though it also serves as a venue for food competitions that are open to the entire town.
The (backwards, oops) judging table is up front, along with a little nectar bar for tastings and some tables where students and guests can sample their work.
In the back are four separate cooking stations for the students/entrants.
Upstairs, there's a small classroom for viewing instructional video on the projector.
As well as a chocolate-making laboratory for those studying the confectionery sciences.
There's also a small lounge and two bathrooms in the back. Nothing too fancy, and only lightly decorated at the moment. But it stands ready to fulfill some food contest wants and hopefully to train the town's first restaurateur!
[Can I also just say how much I am hating LJ's new image wizard thing? Instead of just clicking once to bring up the wizard, which let me plug in the url and all the formatting I wanted all at once, now I have to click to open the wizard, click again to get to where I can paste a url, click to accept and exit the wizard, then double-click the image again to bring up the old image wizard inputs to add border/horiz/vertical spacing, and click to exit that? WHAT A GREAT REDESIGN! THANK YOU, LJ! NO WONDER EVERYONE LIKES YOU SO MUCH.]
