Wilbur Went Limp

Apr 29, 2011 15:18

Poor Wilbur really did hurt himself on our walk last night. He's having a hard time putting weight on his leg today and was able to tell me that his knee *and* his foot hurts. I was feeling around on the back of his leg and there's firm lumpy area that isn't on his other, uninjured leg. I'm wondering if he might've pulled a muscle. He got a ( Read more... )

If you wrote a book, I'd definitely buy it! Doesn't matter if it's a series of tales as a Pro-Domme, tales of Wilbur & Bonzai, or instructional material. Also, I'd offer my services as a proofer. I've done that before for a few friends who are authors.

And I have to applaud you for educating the young'ins! So many other folks would just keep bitching about the situation, and here you are, already improving the life of poor Daisy & T____! Kudos, lady!

that it'd just be treated like some sensationalistic bit of fluff. There are dozens of sex worker tell-alls out there and nobody sees them as Twue Lit-ra-chah

Maybe I just need to get overmyself, churn some sensationalistic crap out, and get better at writing by getting some schlock published before I try for something Truman Capote might want to pick up and pay for.

I just have to get an attention span. Plus I have no perspective on what people find interesting or not. A submissive male was laughing at something I was saying at the club last year and he stopped and said, "You know I'm only laughing because you're a dominant, right?" Oh. No, I actually thought I was being witty and interesting. Definitely took the wind out of my sails.

Daisy ALMOST forgot to snap at me this morning mssaskia May 5 2011, 08:13:23 UTC
I gave her a treat, she let me pat her on her head, and when I backed up to leave, she started getting weirdly aggressive, lunging at me. I think she wanted me to stay and was upset that I was leaving, and expressed it very badly. I wasn't going to get close enough for her to figure out how to say it with fewer teeth.

You're more patient than I. There's one dog in my neighborhood that I think is cute...a little Pomeranian I think. But it yaps alllll the time, every time I run by. So I stopped one day and pet him for a while but when I stood up to leave, he lunged on his leash and bit my pants legs enough to rip a little hole (but thankfully didn't bite me). The owner just shrugged and said, "yeah...he's like that." and didn't seem at all apologetic that he had bit me (and had seemed similarly unperturbed when he snapped at my hands earlier in the conversation). I've given up on the dog though. I figure the owner isn't trying to socialize him.
I'd look forward to a book by you. I like reading your posts after all. Sorry to hear Wilbur's hurt. Hope he heals quickly.

I hear over and over again, mostly from Cesar Milan, that bad dogs aren't bad because there's something inherently wrong with them, but because their people aren't working with them correctly. Sounds like the Pomeranian's owner is fine with him snapping at people. Dick.
