Ok, well this pledge is a bit of a farce at the moment.  I went on a  small book buying spree in July and August.  I'm back on track now. I HOPE.  Once I get in the shopping flow, I have trouble stopping

When you'd mentioned something about a book you'd bought recently, I was thinking, Wasn't she supposed to NOT buy books?

But I couldn't quite remember the terms of the deal you'd made with yourself so I didn't say anything. :-)

I appreciate you not calling me on it a mile and a half into our three-mile walk. It made the last mile and a half much less awkward : P

Well, deals I make with myself are generally self-sabotaged at some point. However, I will say that I usually buy about 2-3 books per month. Despite the influx of comics from SDCC, which could conceivably be seen as joint expenses because js will real them as well, I'm still doing much better than I did in 2008. No need to totally give up the effort.

I've allowed myself a few single issue comic titles as permitted expenses from the start, but not so many trades. But I won't let this slide into a wholesale binge.
