so nc state beat maryland... very satisfying win: it was at home senior day, clinched a winning season and bowl eligibility, it was over hated maryland, and it kept hated maryland from going to a bowl... yeah, that feels good. if (when) state gets a bowl invite, i sure hope the fans actually go... they need to earn a reputation as a team that ( Read more... )

I'm still not an Amato fan until he can prove that he can recruit something besides running backs and defense. O-line ftw.

I enjoyed watching the VT-UNC game too :)

The stands were pretty full for the game Saturday, even the student section which was pretty good given that it was a holiday weekend. People were good and loud from the beginning, instead of waiting til the second half. We were in Section 8, third row. Got to see that amazing 1-handed grab in the endzone that was called incomplete with no review right in front of us. Not too sure of the replay, but it sure looked like a catch to me.

Oh, and I'm still not a big Amato fan either. Credit again goes to the defense for keeping the game close in the first half til the offense found their way.

I'll be at Sammys for the Steelers/Colts game. I'm sure the b-ball game will be on at least one tv.

Oh, and I am going to the bowl game if it's in Charlotte. I'll be there on the 31st anyways and can't take any time off work for any other day/location.
