A Prank War. That's not at all what I had in mind when I suggested becoming a highly effective individual. In fact that isn't very effective at all. I worry that this will do nothing more than cause some kind of trend. If they start doing it, then everyone will start doing it, it will be ridiculous. I don't mind these things being done in spare ( Read more... )

Hey! We're doing a service to the school! Keeping things lively, if you will. After all, there's been a lot of doom and gloom lately, so we're just keeping things light.

And I don't really have time for a effectiveness class. I'm effective enough already.

Oh is that what you're doing? I think that in some cases it could be considered disruption of the learning process.

Oh you're going Ronald Weasley. I'm sure you can make the time.

No, we're helping that out! I mean, no one can learn if they're sad and stuff, so we're stopping people from being sad. We're noble people, really we are.

But I don't want to! It sounds really boring!

Keep telling yourself that. I'm so lucky to have such a noble boyfriend.

You're attending one way or another Ron.

Oh dear. I do hope our boys don't get any ideas. I shudder to think of what they might come up with.

That would certainly be a conundrum. I'm hoping this doesn't become some sort of growing trend.

I do not think Hufflepuff house could survive the first years attempting to remove the roof and the seventh year boys pranking one another. Not to mention, we would like to have some points at the end of this year.

I certainly hope your seventh year boys have more responsiblity than that. Encourage them to come to my 7 Habits of Highly Effective Individuals class instead. First years can come too. It will help them throughout their Hogwarts careers.

Errr...I think maybe I shouldn't come, on account of my greasiness.

And I can't come because I have to save yourself from your hair.

Exactly!

After all, it'd suck to be killed by your own hair. I wonder how Snape's managed to live this long.

Good! Fabulous! Wonderful! At least SOMEONE cares about their future around here.

Oh, but I am very concerned about my future. Things decided now will affect my entire life, after all.

That is very true, I'm glad to hear that someone has a sense of responsibility.

The Prank War will be Highly Effective at keeping us occupied so we don't bother anyone else. See, we've got it all planned out! It's beneficial to the overall Hogwarts society, really.

I still reckon I'm positive enough without the seminar, Hermione. Seriously, I've got all this homework to do! You don't want me to fail because I'm at a seminar, right?

You know, you can tell yourself that all you want. I still say it's disruptive. But I'm turning a blind eye to it . . . for now. As a personal favour.

You won't fail, I can help you with your homework, and this will teach you about proper time management.

Oi! Like that's not blackmail and a half. Not fair in so many ways.

How come Neville doesn't have to go?

msgranger October 24 2004, 22:07:35 UTC
It's not blackmail at at all. Even if it was, you'll thank me later.

Please, feel free to bring Neville with you. He could use it too. The more the merrier.
