A Prank War. That's not at all what I had in mind when I suggested becoming a highly effective individual. In fact that isn't very effective at all. I worry that this will do nothing more than cause some kind of trend. If they start doing it, then everyone will start doing it, it will be ridiculous. I don't mind these things being done in spare ( Read more... )

Oh dear. I do hope our boys don't get any ideas. I shudder to think of what they might come up with.

That would certainly be a conundrum. I'm hoping this doesn't become some sort of growing trend.

I do not think Hufflepuff house could survive the first years attempting to remove the roof and the seventh year boys pranking one another. Not to mention, we would like to have some points at the end of this year.

I certainly hope your seventh year boys have more responsiblity than that. Encourage them to come to my 7 Habits of Highly Effective Individuals class instead. First years can come too. It will help them throughout their Hogwarts careers.

Speaking as a seventh year male Hufflepuff, I can think of better things to do than attend your thing.

I believe even a nuclear holocaust is preferable.

It is so nice to see you getting back to your old self Zacharias.

I was unaware that I was anyone else. Then again, I can imagine what a blot it would be on your record as Head Girl if I had done it, and properly too.

I'm simply saying it's been quite some time since you snarked at me. One doesn't realise how much they miss something until it's gone.

Honestly Zacharias, your well being was my only concern in this situation, my record as Head Girl is not as important as the health, mental or otherwise, of the students in this school.

Snarked isn't a word, you know. It's slang. I thought that you should know.

Well, thank you for that information Zacharias.

After all, if you're going to go all sanctimonious on people, it's always good to sound as if you're not making it up as you're going along. Unprofessional and all that.

I'm not trying to be sanctimonious, and I'm not making anything up as I go along. I didn't invent the slang term! I simply utilised it.

Attend my session! I know what's best for you!

No, not sanctimonious at all.

And it's still wrong.

I'm not claiming to know what's best for anyone. I am just offering a service, I think it might be helpful. You said you weren't going, fine end of story.

There is nothing "wrong" with it at all.

No, I do not think that they do, but we shall keep them in line somehow. Pointy sticks, maybe. I shall see what Hannah and Megan work out as well. As to getting them to attend, I am not sure I want them to be highly effective. I would much rather them be ineffectual and not succeed in their plans.

Maybe Hannah will send along the younger students?

Maybe its just the way the seventh year boy brain works then?

That would be nice, everyone is welcome. Will you be attending? I can put your name down.
