Okay. LOVED last night's episode. Even knowing what was going to happen with Sara/Katie/swan, etc., it was still so great to see it actually unfold. (And as an aside: yeah, so I was in the hospital last fall, and I *wish* I would've looked as "bad" as Sara...hee...)

I'm so looking forward to this season. I just have to keep reminding myself that the season will only cover a three-week span, so I can't get my hopes up that there will be some huge Michael/Sara resolution. But they have to give us something, right??

Oh, and the other thing -- I'd hate to spoil anyone, so hopefully you have ESP -- that happened surprised me, but I can't say I'm all that disappointed. Does that make me cold-blooded?

Dude, I was singing the "Ding Dong" song from the Wizard of Oz all night. *g*

Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! You wrote it! I haven't even read the fic yet, but I had to get all the squeeing out of the way. Between this and the new episode (which I haven't seen either), I'm too much of a fangirl mess right now.

Off to read the fic now!

Thanks for writing this! :)

Okay, I'm back and I've read it (yeah, 3 times). And once again, I am blown away! I mean, I knew you were writing this fic and you were gonna fill the gaps between scenes, but you did a lot more than I expected. You filled ALL the gaps in the episode, plus more. I was like...whoa! I was so overwhelmed with it. I swear, if we were in a message board, this post would be overloaded with all sorts of smilies by now.

I love that you started from the very first scene, Lincoln's almost execution. And then you went on to include Linc's check up the next day. I love this part:

She leaves his cell, wondering how she ever could have missed the fact that Burrows and Scofield were brothers. For every one difference she sees, she finds two similarities and right now, Lincoln’s obvious avoidance of a touchy subject is painfully familiar. I was thinking the exact same thing whenever I watch that scene ( ... )

This was GORGEOUS! And you've addressed one of the parts of that storyline that initially surprised me -- Sara jumping to the conclusion that Michael was burned by a guard. Loved it!

Thanks! I always suspected that Sara had spent quite a bit of time thinking about that piece of fabric, so I think I was just trying to explain it to myself. *g*

Wow -- quick turn-around!

I've said it before, but I'm not ashamed to repeat myself -- you're developing a very believable set of characters. And as always, the combination of interior reflection and exterior activity is exquisitely balanced.

Well, normally it wouldn't have been so fast, but I had the day off today. Yah!

Thank you so much for the kind words, I know that *I* have told you this, but they always mean a lot coming from you.
