Oh, but he's NOT dead. However he chooses to sacrifice himself in 424, they never find a body but eventually have to accept that he's gone. Four years and one day later, he turns up on Sara's doorstep, having recovered from his injuries and his amnesia, and they live happily ever after.

The End.

I am still so devastated at how things ended that I barely have words to describe how I feel looking at these. I am simultaneously aching with joy and despair and I will never ever understand why they (them fucked writers!!) had to write it like this. It is so useless, pointless and cruel. And yes, the "fourth" picture does me in completely. It is pure bliss and it also is a typical Went/Sarah picture. They were so good with each other and for each other and I miss them already, both the actors and the characters together. Which brings me to my desperate plea to hopefully be comforted by some serious IPS update from you, darling, rather sooner than later.
