Here's just one thing I love about this...Full Circle is so well established as it's own universe that vignettes like this can be plopped down it and it's so easy to delve right into the scene. I can visualize the big white house on the beach; Michael drawing blueprints at the kitchen table; Linc headed home to Jane (or to brood about Jane being gone?) and Michael and Sara as the established couple with their comfortable teasing and their low-grade flirting always gives me that special feeling. This just made me smile and smile. I'm still gonna to say "flip-flops" though :).

It's definitely well-established in my head, that's for sure. The Big House and its deck and kitchen and bathroom are as familiar to me as my own home. (Should that worry me? LOL!) I always feel so self-indulgent when I write yet another story set in this universe, and I'm always suprised and grateful that people seem happy to keep reading them, lol!

Jumping in to say yes, but the further canon wanders from AU, the more precious and sacred these types of glimpses become, I think. And the more they illustrate what could have been great.
