I've been a lurker for way too long so I'm finally trying to get a LJ together (Is it just me or is it pretty complicated to do that?)
I'm so glad you "have no intention of taking your toys and going home, because you have AU and RPF". In Plain Sight?! OMG!! Okay I've read all of your fics and totally loved them so it's pretty unfair to just name 'in plain sight' but RPF are just a whole other level.
Please keep on writing fics even if the PB writers are going to screw up even more. We need your fics because remember what Richard Fish said on Ally McBeal? - Happiness can be found in one word: Denial!
Excellent choices, I was madly nodding in agreement with them (except maybe #4. Am I the only one who liked Mr. Kim? I am?).
Well no on else has said it yet so I will....Agatha Christie! Favorite pairing? Is there a Jane Marple/Cherry Baker geriatric femmeslash movement out there? Please point the way!
Is it me or do you want to be Agatha Christie? *g*
Oh, God. With a few minor tweaks, I would definitely like to have her imagination.
I can't actually remember the first one I read. It *may* have been Death on the Nile, which I'm sure would have horrified my mother. I didn't read Evil under the Sun for a long time, because the cover freaked me out so much, lol! Seven Dials is a big favourite, though, and I really must go read it again.
I had to think for a moment who Carl Carlson was, but when you put Lenny/Carl as a couple then it came to me. Those two kind of kibbitz at the edge of a lot of conversations, but they've gotten much funnier over time! And more random, which in this show tends to lead directly to the funny. ;)
I have been known to think less of people if they don't like The Simpsons. Hahaha! Actually that makes sense to me. ;) Although I think none of my sisters watch it, and that's partly because they have not given it a chance. Watch a couple of episodes, and how can you not be hooked?
*pulls out Giant Popsicle Stick Homer and secret-Norman-Bates-school-principal as examples*
I pretty love every single character (and let's not get started on Farscape, lol!) so this one was quite hard to narrow down.

Oh, that was truly a priceless moment. "It's a school day, Mother." Not to mention his frequent 'Nam flashbacks.
And more random, which in this show tends to lead directly to the funny. ;)
It's the random gay tangents that crack me up, and it's not just Lenny and Carl. Homer drooling over Oliver North being poured into his uniform during his trial?
I'm like you with the quotes. It's truly horrifying how many times my husband and I communicate in Simpsons-speak during the course of our daily lives.
You've covered the questions I'd ask you, but I just have to say, with the exception of Harry/Hr vs. Harry/Ginny, which we've discussed briefly, my answers to the fandoms we have in common would be strikingly similar. I can't believe that out of all those choices, we only have 3 fandoms in common. You need to start watching Friday Night Lights! *g*
