Hello lady of the north,

what a lovely way to start the day. You have captured the amazement of watching the ballet so beautifully and worked in Sara's Season One's 'discovery' of Michael really appropriately.

Hope you dont mind me sharing some personal info in your journal this fine morn, but we recently took our kids to the 'male' version of Swan Lake - it was their first ballet experience (and this performance of SL is unbelievable - the bodies, the sweat, the intensity...oh, and the bodies, did I mention them?) We spent some time watching the girl's reaction to the performance and their mouths hung open the entire time - fantastic

Oh, I'd read/seen a few things about the male version of Swan Lake, but I didn't know anyone who's seen it. Sounds as though it was as amazing as I thought it would be, and how nice that it was your kids' first ballet experience!
