The way you explained parts that we didn't 'see' was just so true to what would have happened, you are always so spot on with that. You even managed to get some M/S moments in there. That's always welcome :D
Just excellent.

I'm sure that doesn't shock you. *g*
Glad you liked it, and thanks for letting me bounce this off you at the last minute!

..he'll call again and when he does, you sure as hell won’t start the conversation by bitching at him about how long it's taken him to call.
Like that, for one! Thankyou! *smacks LJ* Typical teen. *g*
You close your eyes, wanting to hate her for everything she’s saying but knowing that she’s right, knowing that you owe her more than you could ever repay. Just like you owe Michael. Just like you owe your son. This just kills me - the amount of guilt Lincoln carries around just by being alive is demonstrated so well in that paragraph *wants to comfort him* So good ( ... )

I'm very glad you liked this. I was a bit nervous writing the LJ and Lincoln parts, knowing how much attention you would pay to them, lol! And you know how well I know 16 yo boys. Not! *g*
Enjoy your birthday weekend!

I wanted to get it done for my buddy's birthday. You know how it is. *g*
but I particularly liked your reasoning behind LJ wanting to stay away
Thanks. I know that foxriver_lady was very sad about that phone call between father and son, and I wanted to make it right for her.
and the little added extra in the hotel room when Sara comes back with Cooper, and she sees how angry and frightened Michael is that she risked herself.
It was Michael and Sara themselves who inspired that, actually. If you watch that scene again, you can see him *look* at her. He steps back to let Cooper Green into the room, and he watches him as he walks past, then his eyes go to Sara, and he does not look happy. *flails*
Oh, and on a totally shallow note, how hot was Michael taking out the false Mr Green?!
Totally, totally hot. *g*
I'm so glad you liked it!

It really shouldn't have to take a fanfic writer - even one as talented as yourself, whom it's a pleasure to read - to give us some idea of how Michael was worrying about Sara etc in this episode. Yes, they are pressed for time, but exactly how many milliseconds does it take to show Michael and Sara exchanging a glance such as the one you described?
Anyway, fabulous job as always. Thank you!

I enjoyed the episode, but the 'explain everything logically' part of my brain was going, 'WTF?' a lot more than usual, so this was both a present for my buddy and a way of helping both of us feel better about what we thought might have been missing.
I would have been totally happy with an awkward, "I was worried/I'm sorry." exchange, but it was not to be. *sighs*
