I'm no fan of Jerry Pournelle. I have always hated his politics, and the only writer I have more contempt for in the annals of SF is L. Ron Hubbard. I am to whatever extent. I dislike his partisan inclinations, as opposed to his old school American conservatism. As for the writing: Inferno.

Well, having been reading along the whole time, and if he's telling it straight, there's no clean indication of what it is, so it's just a question of if it is malignant. I figure four weeks should tell the tale, since the treatment is over.
