Self-Revelations and Personal Impressions *GT Filter*

I've been debating with myself the best way to handle writing about Origins...go with the basic run-down for public consumption first, or get into deeper stuff (and how to categorize the deeper stuff - one post, multiple posts)? It's been a tough call. I think I've decided to go for the deeper stuff since it's heavier on my mind. Not *bad* ( Read more... )

wow, was that a gaming convention or an encounter weekend? I'm confused? :-) I'm glad that things, despite some turmoil, went well. Some of your stuff resonates with me a lot right now. The second half of #3 with the doubts looms huge in my head. For me, I'm clinging to the "once the restaurant closes I get to see more of you right?". Keeps me going that does. As for reconnecting with your past love - Yeah! I'm so happy! I hope that works out. I'm in a rough place with that right nw and I'll have to talk aobut it soon or my head will explode.

*hugs*

I'll tell you what...whatever it was, it was incredible and significant, and an experience I'm going to treasure for a very long time. On all *sorts* of levels. :) Eventually I'll post more of a daily events and highlights post (though that one promises to be long too...we were there for 4 days after all, and then there's Cincinnati on Sunday and Monday to talk about...bunches happened here, too). I'll get there. After I get more than 3 hours of sleep. :)

I'm *hoping* 'Yote posts his impressions/experiences/highlights, etc too...and hopefully sometime before October this time. :D

I'm glad you had such a good and personally significant time at the con. Sounds intense. :-) *hugs*

Yeah, but intense in very *very* good ways. Truly.

Gods, it amazes me how happy I am (even as I sit here doing the weepy overtired missing 'yote thing and putting off sleep since he's not here to curl up with...sigh).

Aha, but only in sleep can you have wonderful 'yote-filled dreams, right? ;-)

True. Time to stop putting it off, and curl up with a cute little elder-god-super-hero (does that make him the Ultimate Supa Villain?), with a 'Yote t-shirt on my pillow and hope my eyes don't leak too much from missing him until I fall asleep.

g'night, kids.

I'm glad I got to meet you, too!
And that I finally got there - it's not like I haven't been hearing about the place for over a year!

Oh, I think it's fairly likely. *grins*
We're making plans for the 21st for certain (assuming I can manage to get the night off, but I don't expect any problems there). And OMG, the thought of getting 'Yote into another goth club gives me all sorts of yummy thoughts (gods that man can dance). :) So yeah, I think you may see us around a bit more.
