Glorious weather over the weekend meant we got 2 full days doing gardening chores. It's time to start preparing the garden for winter. Hubby got both lawns cut and maybe this will be the last time before the frosts? I was emtying tubs and cleaning stuff off. We are starting to sort our garden out for winter on Wednesday, we haven't enjoyed it much this year cos of the lousy weather but did manage to do some planting earlier on, no colourful annuals this year though - just couldn't get interested with the rain pouring down!.
We had to have a new winter cover put on the swimming pool which was expensive but at least we won't have to worry about it through the winter.
Lets hope for a better summer next year! xx

We were saying how little we have used the garden this year - hardly been out in the summerhouse even. Very sad.

Did you ever manage to use the pool? I presume the cover means you won't need as much cleaning out next season?

Yes we did use the pool quite a bit - the kids particularly, I think I'll do a post about that - a sort of celebration of the summer that never was!

Sounds like an extremely productive weekend! (You have to prepare for winter in September? We are just starting to think about "preparing" for fall.)

Camilo is one of the new hot youngsters playing. So. many. porn. possibilities.

We are very definitely IN fall already (leaves changing colour and coming down, dark at 7pm, cold mornings) so in only another 2 or 3 weeks we will be IN winter!

Camilo and Sergio would probably speak spanish to one another, so I may have to leave them to it. Camilo is ultra skinny and wears loud fashionable gear. MMmmmmmmm. It's tempting, I have to say!!
