Tell the person that Eccleston did something that no other actor who ever had the role - not even Hartnell - ever had to do, and he did it with incredible style. Also, bowties are NOT cool, and I do not care how many dorks in tweed tell them that they are.

I hear you. I'd hoped all the garbage would stop after Chris' masterclass but sadly it hasn't. Haters are gonna hate. That's a sad fact of life. Gotta wonder if some of that lot aren't just jealous. I added you a friend here, I hope you don't mind. Thought you were already on my list from back either when I signed on to nine_love or ecclescult.

In one of his self- videos in his first season on DW, David Tennant made comments that echoed CE's about the shooting schedule, uncomfortable physical and living conditions, and getting the scripts late. DW has always been the poor stepchild of the BBC, and people involved with the shows complained ( ... )

Although I have been a DW fan since the 70's, I am brand new to the whole fandom thing. I joined up because of CE supporters like you! So what if there are haters. They are going to hate no matter what. Their hate should not be able to penetrate our sphere of CE support. It should be that strong. I don't care what they think, only that they have the right to make themselves look like idiots.

I DO care about people like you that leave because of them. Do not let them succeed in squashing out the less populated parts of the fandom. That's what they want. Please do not give it to them.

Maybe I am just naive in my happiness to have found like minded people like you to chat with now and again. People that I can share my love of CE with.
